Wedding Day

prep

We typically start the day with the bride and bridesmaids and groom and groomsmen while they're getting ready.  Since the details are a big part of every couple's day, having everything available while we're with you during wedding prep is crucial.

In all the excitement on the morning of your wedding it's easy to forget key items that help me capture the story of your day.  Here is a list of items to have readily available for us:

Dress and customized hanger.  Many brides like to add a custom touch.  But even if you don't have a customized hanger be sure to bring a nice one.

The Rings (all three).  Often the best man will have the bride's wedding ring, but I like to get shots of all rings together.

Other jewelry and shoes.  Brides usually won't forget this, but make sure the groom also has with him any special pieces like watches or cuff links.

Invitation and any other stationary.

Bouquets and boutonnieres. Having a few extra loose flowers and greenery for me to style with is helpful too. Ask your florist if they can include a few leftovers in your delivery.

Veil and headpieces.

Heirlooms and keepsakes.

Gifts or letters
to be exchanged with each other, or gifts to the bridal party.

Perfume and cologne.
